Dear Pope Francis,
Years back my wife and I married ourselves in your Metropolitan Cathedral where you were Cardinal of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Now I find myself opposed to your remaining Pope when your voice could still be sufficiently heard, unlike your predecessor's (Pope Benedict) stone silence.
I know you give your all, putting up with the pomp and circumstance. But a forthright decision could mean more than the political circus history's shown a Pope's selection should not become. Politics inevitable, circus a show hidden feud.
Fairly easy to see your successor should come from Africa or Australia to remind the world everyone's in this together. No matter how far an outpost. Pope Francis, you're The Pope. The Catholic Church buck stops with you.
Have fun,
Malcolm
