Ordinarily Eras Don't End When Someone Dies?

Tabloids still dot our epoch's checkout lines. Yet figures show less of us are there prey to the highest bid, where accepted wisdom marginalized public taste through bad behavior putting people in the seats. Presently glued to notoriety on multiple screens. Theme-speak is everywhere and why there's neither time, nor an inclination to write it out. Molded and folded together for leisure consumption, so lingering over the stylish hot-shot of the model drinking Apéritif pleases. Either comfortable or agitated aware, wisdom seems an ability to distrust. Case in point, marginalizing, by any means necessary, an obituary of a remarkable advertising man

Yesterday The New York Times reported Oglala Sioux activistRussell Means, who - staged guerrilla-tactic protests that called attention to the nation’s history of injustice, received the headline, Russell Means, Who Revived Warrior Image of American Indian, Dies at 72.

Leaving Court

Reuters synopsized his resume, while, like a rap sheet  (Record of Arrest and Prosecution), The Times extensively recounted Russell Means' controversial career. As in the next paragraph claiming - He styled himself a throwback to ancestors who resisted the westward expansion of the American frontier. With theatrical protests that brought national attention to poverty and discrimination suffered by his people, he became arguably the nation’s best-known Indian since Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse.

Any celebrity knows outside the tribe is the problem. As when what White Man wanted, Indian could no longer roam. An agenda Nike still advocates, advising Just Do It

According to The Times, Mr. Means rose to national attention as a leader of the American Indian Movement in 1970, directing a band of Indian protesters on Thanksgiving Day, seizing the Mayflower II Pilgrim ship replica at Plymouth, Mass. - The boisterous Indians' and costumed Pilgrims' confrontation attracted network television coverage and made Mr. Means an overnight hero to dissident Indians and sympathetic whites.

Labeledovernight hero to dissident Indians and sympathetic whites - is reduced to complainer as The Times summarizes his public career highlights, citing  Mr. Means' being criticized for commercial forays that seemed to hog the spotlight.

Now whose idea, really, was hogging the spotlight?
Amen.

I heard last night's debate and, sans faces, noticed both participants repeat what was said last time. The Times. Reuters. The Washington Post. Los Angeles Times. Boston Herald. Miami Herald. Chicago Sun-Times. Seattle Times
---
As all tragedy relates, The Times ran a story today for New Yorkers nostalgic for when pot was gotten, somewhat, civilized with a cup of coffee from the corner store on the spot. The Times shows the dichotomy of a long-trusted neighborhood commercial haven resorting to hustling as quite a haul was retrieved demonstrating intent.  The Times, without specifically printing, describes what's missing from the drug war is heart.

Yes, criminals are criminals but at the current adversarial level, this is an industry unnecessarily producing criminals. Does it matter it's feasible to efficiently run the Criminal Warehouse State

Wow. Reuters reports China hints at reform by dropping Mao wording.   - The subtle dropping of references to late Chinese leader Mao Zedong from two policy statements over the last few weeks serves as one of the most intriguing hints yet that the ruling Communist Party is planning to move in the direction of reform.

Rulings, like reading tea leaves, are never out of style. But while policy change does come from reevaluation, smoke and mirrors either way. Reuters even prints the speculation that the disgraced politician husband of the confessed, commercially focused, convicted of murder, wife, represented leftists opposed to reform that can now open up. Even accurate, that's a nuance I'd trust as far as its thrown.

Nah. A lot more is happening, than has happened, so far, before Toto has a grip on the curtain over transparency. But, we are all waiting on political elite aristocracies to view, see and appreciate the light of day.

Thank you for waiting with us, Russell.

Prepared For Better War?

Titled It’s not just Homeland Security: US Army orders riot gear tooRT picked up on a procurement advertisement posted on the official government website for federal business opportunities, FedBizOpps.GOV. Printing it’s more than just stockpiling surveillance drones to spy on US citizens, the United States Army is attempting to procure an arsenal of riot gear in case the military must go toe-to-toe with civilians on US soil. A tidy assessment, that’s no doubt a valid conjecture, but the truth is, as has come out, American military personnel have been sent into combat and suffered for not being as well protected as others assigned to defend private property against our own U.S. citizenry whose resentment of wealth has required a military styled defense within the United States.
But as RT points out, a solicitation for weapons posted on the official government website for federal business opportunities reveals the US Army has been in the market for nonlethal equipment that very well might be used in the United States. The Web posting made earlier this summer, has the Army asking for bids for riot shields, face masks, polycarbonate batons and body armor. And on July 10, they awarded the contract to A2Z Supply Corp of Stevensville, Montana, who pledged to fulfill their request at the tune of $6,589.98. Though RT does not bother specifying if this is per soldier/policeman.
The latest inquiry from the US Army was filed only a few weeks before another call for bids was published by the Department of Homeland Security. On July 26, the DHS Office of Procurement Operations also wrote on FBO.gov that they were soliciting contractors to help equip them with riot helmets, tactical gloves, shin guards, body armor and other comparable equipment that could be used in tandem with a complex “riot control system.” According to the 2001 Executive Order that established the DHS signed by then-President George W Bush, the agency “will coordinate the executive branch’s efforts to detect, prepare for, prevent, protect against, respond to and recover from terrorist attacks within the United States.” With an agency assigned only domestic duties asking for thousands of dollars’ worth of riot gear, and an army with more than one million soldiers seeking body armor, and not assault rifles, many are suggesting, according to RT, that the solicitation requests are readying the government for a full-blown war with its own people on US soil. The fact is as a Russian publication looking for controversy, they’re not versed in the facts that the United States has used controlled violence against American protest throughout its’ history. The first President George Washington led troops to put down the Whiskey Rebellion in rural Western Pennsylvania.
But the major prominent fact is the less protected and threatened the police feel, the more apt they are to respond with violence which incites further violence among protestors to respond to as the cycles of violence continue rolling on. Protecting the police enough to put down their weapons against American citizens would be a start, just as the Soviet military did back in 1991 that helped to bring about Russia’s dynamic change we’re still waiting on to come to completefruition too.
RT goes on to print both American government requests to private enterprisearmaments suppliers were published within days of recent Capitol Hill testimony delivered from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano that included excerpts confirming the federal government is considering deploying surveillance drones over California as a means of proactively patrolling American cities under the guise of “public safety.” Uh huh. While we wait on government representation of all the people that could possibly render those activities benignly on our behalf rather than malignantly calculated to render all freedom from government control extinct.
Meanwhile RT reported the city of Anaheim, California has come into the spotlight in recent days for hosting a week of consecutive protests that targeted the city’s allegedly corrupt police department. Most likely as with the rest of America those underpaid officers are having to procure their own sideline investments to keep up with inflation the money handlers irresponsibly take no responsibility for unless it’s their own capitalizing on. Last weekend, two men were shot and killed by officers with the Anaheim PD. Peaceful demonstrations that erupted afterward spawned yet more violence dished out by the local law enforcement, escalating tensions between civilians and cops and causing many to declare that the brutal policing is a localized attempt to install military rule over the people. Now with domestic agencies and the national Army both asking for riot gear, the unrest in Anaheim that has already spilled into other US cities could soon be matched with government opposition — and opposition well equipped. To paraphrase Janis Joplin, “Lord, won’t you buy me, a Mercedes-Benz.” Then maybe I can move about without seeming to offend those in a position to use power that’s offensive to the very sanctity of everyone’s right to some day purchase an affordable Mercedes-Benz. That, God/Allah as our witness, no longer has to be armored for safety on this ruthless tyrannical planet.

A Not So Wonderful, Photo-opped, Cliqued, Life
The circus is in fine shape? Though some want the show identified as unstable, while others are resolved to seeing the benefit of the doubt as just not real enough to be much beyond sycophantic. Sophomoric totems are humanity's destiny

Prepared For Better War?
Tweeting what people think is, or not, thought scoundrelous behavior? That is a question. Whether it's right to facilitate mis-interpretations and wrong to unnecessarily fling idiosyncratic hyperboles, so indiscriminately, the public sphere's mere volleyed shallow catchphrases? What's faced is certainly not gumflapping. Yet people are due more than diametric positions muddled to distraction. Or not. Ba dump bump
To be so absorbed and in love with power, as to be seduced by the very shortcuts that allowed your being there. Politicians should have more to do than attach to patriotism. ... too big for your britches.
May have heard "down by the riverside" down by the riverside, as one'd expect, at Clearwater's Great Hudson River Revival, wondering whether, next year's, Bob Dylan surprise, anonymous, guest appearance happens, perhaps, somewhere back by the drums.
As it turned out, for 2018's show, two hours upstate by car, that same weekend, across the river, there was another huge multi-stage festival, Mountain Jam, that didn't necessarily intend to aid bad water's lethargic agenda with their annually held, first weekend following Memorial Day, festival. Which doesn't matter, after all, there are a lot of people.
History’s Do What Stage
The dilemma's always how to tackle this now. Going along or resisting aren't options if they're the only choice. As eccentric as current circumstances seem, ...
Proportional appraisals are appropriate. That the present's confoundedly futile feeling's perturbing, is no different than when our theoretically less-sophisticated pasts handled matters. Politics are a business deal. Duh. Time plods. Imagery connects with people or no longer has relevance in the process of going along getting along. You'll enjoy the bitter taste because the syrup's just so thick, sweet and juicy. Diatribe rules?

Laying Out The Land, One Block At A Time
Goshen’s Real Estate Bargain
Without growth, there's isolation - stagnation. Business can't stop progress, nor the negative ramifications. Such that the valley hamlet of Goshen, New York is expected to be satisfied with an attraction by the highway that would, indubitably, change the town's character.
If not there should be a town law, more specifically written, against facilities of any kind conflicting with, or exploiting, the Trotter Horse Museum and town's general reflection of the down-home character of earlier centuries' cities. Because their current law was stretched thin.
Threatened, or not, by plasticized America. Goshen's hardly the place for memorializing that hallmarked fate. And who doesn't like Legos? Go Lincoln Logs. But this real estate bargain is a seriously farcical tragedy.
Bustling plasticized Goshen's cha-ching ring's unappealing to many residents as against the notion of what it means to be Goshen. Find another town’s spot and maybe a, possibly, more tranquil Goshen will want your donation of a Lego Trotting Horse statue for a nice, kind, remembrance of the occasion. Legos deserve a museum, without a scar.

Stop Legoland Protest - Saturdays, 12:30--1:30 PM
6 North Church Street, Goshen

Great weather so join us for an hour to protest, spot zoning, pollution of the Otterkill Creek, illegal amusement parks in Goshen, the DEC investigation for lack of wastewater runoff control and the fine they received for breaking the Arcadia Hills sewer pipe in five places. Flyers and brochures. We need everyone's support to tell the town "It's Not a Done Deal." They have not built the park yet.
Concerned Citizens for the Hudson Valley
As it would happen, right before my exposure to Goshen's real estate blinders dilemma, a politician, from a booth I'd sidestepped, caught up and came around to face me, and offered his hand after explaining himself. Seems "I'm not from this district" didn't apply to the statewide office he seeks. Perhaps too amiably charismatic for the ruthless position, but no doubt a fighter being the career-long civil rights attorney, Michael Sussman. No matter that Green Party candidacies don't fit the moment's political necessities. The ornery Democrat's perspective should be in the New York State Attorney General's office. Pointing out that he's strictly worked from the adversarial side, misrepresents justice's highest ideals and why everything about our us vs. them quagmire falls short in a nightmarish Criminal Enterprise System.
A ceaseless chain cycles desperation's roots until healed. People doing bad drugs doesn't make sense. The whole hostile atmosphere is an unnecessary nightmare. When the police aren't on everyone's side, even criminals, horribleness occurs. Humanity at war with itself's oxymoronic

"THE GLASS CEILING" MYTH is men CARE! Especially Arrogant DECEIVED GASAHOLIC - LA Connected to Dr. Armand Hammer, MALCOLM FORBES WARNED ME ABOUT.

RITTER forced to be honest? Your culture, not mine folks.

Giving up power is just not in human DNA. Why understandable SECURITY for the Men Controlled ABC/DISNEY Conglomerate chose to redundantly support their, Trophy of Entitlement, "GLASS CEILING" Ritter. His, "Glass Ceiling's," obvious shallowness when faced - is reflected in ABC SECURITY's basic inability to READ, contemplate or even be allowed to think. As Sergeant Schultz, of Hogan's Heroes fame, can be paraphrased, They "know nothing."

And of the possible security personnel in the ballpark? Like me just wishing Bill Ritter's selfish activity never started. As I said to a Friendly, supposedly, Security Man. Weird is how I've had to react to weird. He, Ritter, didn't know who I was? NOT even plausible NOW! PLUS he certainly saw WE knew enough of each other to speak with each other. Despite Glass Wall's SECURITY CEILING.

Just because Stalin and Mao won, doesn't mean they weren't ruthless tyrants. Same holds true of people responsible for minimizing my, destroyable by BIG MONEY, reputation.

In addition, LAST SUMMER, in front of me. A male executive made a point of taking inside just a fan for a picture WITH HER, at the desk where her eyes had bonded with mine, just to demonstrate how outside I STILL AM! I was away an entire month researching trains in six Northeast-Corridor American cities. New York City. Ithaca, New York. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wilmington, Delaware. Baltimore, Maryland. And Washington, D. C.

Then, back at 66 and Columbus, faced down 5 repetitive stalkers. Ms. Baderinwa able to phone film the first incident, as we looked in each others' stunned eyes that got me to grab the bicycle to put in front of the threatener. She no doubt knows I won't hit, regardless.

Twice threatened with unseen knives and the worst mouth responded to as loud, became Ritter's contrived defensive platform. "Security can handle" it, that I've watched Sade entertain - and allow one shadow to be outside that window "FIVE YEARS." Mr. "I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS" after saying and listening to basically little. Yet knew Bronx Expressway's a tragedy AND ran knowing I'm about HIS ILK FIXING & FACING MORE! Robert Moses also ran from Robert A. Caro too when pressed as to why he was undermining OUR FUTURES

Cornell University? Some ABC/DISNEY Staff has portrayed themselves for near half a year (security stepped between me and her car door, neither of us would have opened then) wanting rid of this man who proudly highlights Cornell's Founders Wall AS INSPIRATION. Because my Aunt Aurora and Uncle Kenneth, JK Fraser's names appear on the FOUNDERS WALL next to Laurence Rockefeller. As such, ABC/DISNEY/RITTER rendered me insignificant in any context as a stalker outside their window. Preposterous.

BILL RITTER CREATED The Conglomerate's Malignant Perception as Ms. Baderinwa and I stuck with an entirely different observational agenda. PERIOD. I am the only journalist who'll ever visit the set of LAW AND ORDER three times because Dick Wolf respected my uncle.

Cornell/Syracuse Weatherman Lee Goldberg's eyes goofily circled hearing "GLASS CEILING'S" jargon. Jargon covering up for POLLUTION and its EXCAVATION ruining the world. Goldberg said it. "Global Warming is faster than projected." We've taken too much out of the wobbling EARTH and BILL RITTER and others aren't caring enough for the PUBLIC TO GIVE A CRAP.

So "GLASS CEILING," ME described as a "pest" is A HEARD FACT. A first time seen Security that said it, gaining attention of a passing woman's eyes. Men aren't capable of being straight about this ISSUE! "TEAM GLASS CEILING!"

The fact that beyond interfering with Sade Baderinwa and I where HE DIDN'T AND DOESN'T BELONG, he's also had no problem BEING an actual male hierarchy figurehead in the way of WOMEN'S PROGRESS. In the way of women advancing the capability of ABC's local news. Capability so far beyond Ritter's, personally inflated, panel buttressed vision. RITTER AND ABC/DISNEY SHOULD FACE reflecting our culture's shallowness.

Nina Pineda should have, at least, a monthly review show of her journalism. Sandra Bookman, after two decades, finally got HERE AND NOW! Woman actually faced me down, stepping forward, leering in my eyes when I passed where she stood and a cyclist was doored and killed the day before. Oh yeah, believe it. When I face Sandra Bookman, I'm facing more than shallow male hierarchy ever bothered achieving.

Do I believe ABC/DISNEY is completely trapped by Bill Ritter's deviousness? I have to qualify devious, because as stands, he is represented as JUST a face at a desk not capable of responsibility for any actions or opinions. ESPECIALLY HIS OWN!

But even "What's a Conscience" Security JEFF will abandon "Glass Ceiling" in their own time. Right, abc glass ceiling security division, IN TUNE with gladhandedly secure Mr. "GLASS CEILING/% himself? Ethics will prevail.

SO I don't appreciate, or even a tad appreciate, drawn into Bill Ritter's arrogant ARROGANCE. People who hold themselves in such entitled esteem, above others, SHOULD REALLY WORK AT IT. Wave Bill!

In my opinion this man's memory holds "GLASS CEILING" contemptuously. Mr. Contentless Magnanimous Gesture.

Uh huh. Of course I'm mad.
Eight months after Ms. Baderinwa AND I understand where we are, "GLASS CEILING" Ritter and ABC/DISNEY STILL represent themselves as if RITTER didn't outright intrude and they're BOTH bigger than human institutions. As even the Stock Market, where women WILL MAKE STRIDES, must see everything "GLASS CEILING'S WAY! MEN! 30 Centuries DICTATES WOMEN'S TURN and yes face-to-face, I'll say it. EXPERIENCE HELL you earned, "GLASS CEILING." Doubtful ever really understood the actual challenges in your lives? Especially the Sycophantic Coaster on the Militarized (San Diego Naval Industry) Industrial Complex! !!!

This gas madness of (napalmed Vietnam/"smells like victory") destruction over the centuries? That you RITTER ENDORSED in intervening in my life specifically. Up-nosed LA business writer on Occidental/ARMAND HAMMER malignancy-in-my-life time. While BIG MONEY continues the TEARING OUT THE EARTH Hypocrisy! Sure Ritter raises liberal flags. Professes objectivity like the lunatic running for the betrayed White House. But I've seen his gas isn't ruining the world shrugging. World's already ruined and needs fixing wasn't on pinhead's radar. Not my fault. ABC/DISNEY?

Whatever. BUT Everyone should, or will, realize, no one innocent interferes as you"Glass Ceiling," chose to do

I, Malcolm Fraser wanted nothing to do with how Rudy Giuliani chased and manipulated Donna Hanover in her Miami television studio, numbskulls.

Sade Baderinwa, you are a genius. 😇😇😇
