Life Taken From American Envoy In Libya In Addition To Three Others

One wonders, now, in the aftermath, how stable Libya was thought to risk exposure to such hysteria.
RT reports – The White House confirmed the killing of the US ambassador to Libya and three other Americans in an attack by local militia on the American consulate in Benghazi. President Obama has condemned the attack.
RT explains – The exact circumstances of ambassador Christopher Steven’s death remain unclear. And The New York Times confirms the details are sketchy, while delineating how the diplomatic lines are being maintained.
Libyan security forces fought valiantly against the mob. Hardly civil protest, is it? Hear that hope’s echo bouncing off all the deaf ears?
RT goes with – A group of extremists attacked the US consulate in Benghazi on Tuesday night. There are reports Stevens was not killed in the Tuesday night assault, but attacked by a second mob when he arrived Wednesday morning, according to The Guardian that names suspects.
Libyan officials expressed their condolences. “We apologize to the United States, the people and to the whole world for what happened,” Libya’s interim presidentMohammed Magarief said in a news conference broadcast live on Al Jazeeratelevision. “We confirm that no one will escape from punishment and questioning,” Magarief continued, RT quotes.
Also – Tunisian media reported Salafis are now calling for an attack on their country’s US embassy. Salafis had previously attempted to attack the embassy, but were repelled by security forces. Many expect another attack. President Obama has ordered increased security for US diplomatic personnel around the world, the AP reported.
Yeah. Now there’s instability, so according to CNN a Marine Corp security team is headed to Libya to reinforce the US embassy in Tripoli.
The violence is also speculated as stemming from protest against an American amateur film “Innocence of Muslims” deemed offensive to the Prophet Muhammad as a similar incident took place in Cairo, Egypt’s capital, against US-based producers that include, Terry Jones, a Koran-burning Christian Pastor whose created scandal triggered earlier mass protests in Afghanistan.
So, this type of thing was seen coming is not a question.
AND – the intolerant Christian Jihadist released a video on the September 11th anniversary, promoting the film as portraying the Prophet in a “satirical” manner, according to Pastor Jones and RT.
Some people just want to go, be, berserk.
Ambassador John Christopher Stevens was born in northern California in 1960 and was first sent to Libya in June 2007 as deputy chief of the country’s US mission. He served as chargé d’affaires at the Tripoli embassy until 2009. Served a second time in April 2011, arriving on a cargo ship. The US government sent him to rebel headquarters in Benghazi to serve as a special representative to the Libyan National Transitional Council. In March 2012, Stevens was named America’s ambassador to Libya.
I trust Allah abhors violence.
