Sade Baderinwa ...

 October 10, 2023. Please?

So before leaving Washington your mental image turned somewhat blue. + white lipstick a surprise. But Brown Eyes, your pupils are brown too?

So of course, typical man, & woman, we made it to your monument placing. Where the 1914 Suffragette March went for speeches and I sat, wondering how I look bunched up in your winter hat in your bag?
Well, anyway. Quite the elucidating trip taking in Wilmington, Baltimore and the nation's capital back to Wilmington. Obvious. All the nation has to do is concede to idolizing the car, Robert Moses and the right to be forgiven for destroying the world is too presumptuous. If companies offer carbon free in another generation, it's hiding from over TWO GENERATIONS of outright malfeasance in this regard.
It's not oh no global warming whenever. It's over unless things gone wrong are fixed. Every car could be electric. GAS INDUSTRY devoted to destroying the world is just arrogant denial that needs off ALL OUR A___S. Murderers no matter how much luxury conforms our polished eyes to accepting killing each other arrogantly in our cars on top of selfishly destroying the earth. Well at least insurance pays itself well enough to lie to ourselves about what our percentages really mean beyond money. SELFISH ARROGANCE!
And so in the continuing saga of my saying little or nothing more about the obvious deniability of my being scapegoated and blacklisted by the corporate giant uber through their UBEREATS Division that combined with the other apps to destroy the bicycle as an efficient delivery system for food in New York City. More efficient motorbikes? Faced with actual responsibility for turning their backs on an obvious CLOCKWORK ORANGE atmosphere on the city streets. Well no. The Supreme Court says corporations should deny ethics like any other entity as self entitled as their corrupt selves.
WHY DON'T YOU ALL GO WHITHER WAVING FROM THE GRANDSTANDS, you outright polished IDIOCY idolizing the worst CHIEF JUSTICE ever! The friend of the worst BLACK MAN EVER on the SUPREME COURT! Blame my hating you? Screwballs. You're the ones stuck lying only yourselves!
Nope, no way. State, App companies that dominated programmers to faze out competition for labor couriers established 50 years ago. No one's fingers able to lift what exploiting independent contractors can destroy. The promise,  made tregedy just calculating money in the form of OUTRIGHT CHARADES!
UBER can say no one told them specifically we COURIERS  were watching for their specific sin. But obviously enough lawyers or near enough ones knew in my just walking away jobless, in disgust, months ago while the uber app bellows bring your useless to yourself back!
So New York State and Uber will sit on their hands and volleyball money and food will arrive eventually and everyone can say if only we didn't pretend there wasn't a problem chiseling the labor that made the system work right once.
Customers were right stopping tipping. Unethical people made that happen. Started with rates that might not have needed tipping. Oh well, as written earlier it's acknowledged I/WE were just waiting for the collapse. It worked. Why collapse it? They didn't care and the State won't be that energetic in bureaucratic lethargy THAT DOMINATES THE COMMERCE AND STATE Bureaucracies. Go ahead spend more on republicans lying they're not the worst bureaucrats ever on both sides of the line.
ANYWAY. Far fetched as this sounds? In Delaware I saw a courier company, open all night, still carrying lawyer stuff for that solvent local business. Carry other stuff, but digitization changed carrying photos. But certain things?
Well. Seems this major Revolutionary War city, where Americans retreated, to strengthen, still has bicycles delivering. Obviously uber spent money to attack New York. These three cities they're probably just carving up the suburbs promising what's left of the malls or whatever as if they could care sitting back and waiting on the digits doing the perpetual work of hiding people who think exploitation's just fun gotten away with.
Filled out an application with the company last week. Basically rudderless because real estate overpriced just getting by ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. I was heading south, but a plan worth thinking about.
I can be in New York easily or vice-verse, and maybe rotate with empty storefronts to put my films in the window for the nightly theater crowd etc and outlet for courier artists, through the years, to commercially show.
Here's the kicker, if I see gumption. Apps don't own the copyright on how they choose closest to pick up food etc. Known for years, but how to create the infrastructure. Couriers have done this in little ways working with restaurants.
I think Downtown Wilmington that closes early, would benefit if the lawyers received dinner etc with the important printed work they still receive. Not like these wholesalers acting like grocery stores with deliveries. But the whole downtown working together. Pharmacies taking turns when available.
Problem, supplying the reaches of the suburbs? Won't. Idea is to support the businesses. Unlike the apps that charged a percentage that restaurants absorbed unable to pass to customers. Customers pay for it. If not, doesn't work. Economy goes weird & an uber court-fired EXEC(s) delivers food as franchises out of mobile homes? Near enough ethicless. Competition-wise why not. But uber creator, historically you're just s___. Nice in retrospect knowing uber hated me more than I hated them. Cool.
Competition is right. But people need to wonder why is it so important to not be judged based on ethics anymore? And that crap was elected president once pretending being stupid is strong.

Fixing America, That Started Before The Revolution, Needs Actual Effectiveness NOW

My favorite late afternoon thing to do is write, in the grass, with the Geese in the Joe Biden Wilmington Riverside Park.
Quite an elucidating trip taking in Wilmington, Baltimore and the nation's capital back to Wilmington NOW till the 11:30 train tonight. Obvious how embedded the future's problems are. All the nation has to do is concede to idolizing the car, Robert Moses and the right to be forgiven for destroying the world is too presumptuous. If companies offer carbon free in another generation, it's hiding from over TWO GENERATIONS of outright malfeasance in this regard. Court of irreversible opinion.
It's not oh no global warming, whenever? What? Over unless wrong things are fixed. Every car could be electric. GAS INDUSTRY devoted to destroying the world is just arrogant denial that needs off ALL OUR A___S. Murderers no matter how much luxury conforms our polished eyes to accepting killing each other arrogantly in our cars, remains atop the selfishly destroyed planet. Our GOD given World. Well, at least insurance pays itself well enough to lie well enough behind hiding behind money.
Screwballs. You're the ones stuck lying only about yourselves!
Nope, no way. State, App companies that dominated programmers to faze out competition for labor couriers established 50 years ago. No one's fingers able to lift what exploiting independent contractors destroyed generations. The promise of proper circulation system? Made tragic tragedy just calculating money in the form of OUTRIGHT CHARADES!
UBER can say no one told them specifically we COURIERS  were watching for their specific sin. But obviously enough lawyers, or near enough ones, knew in my just walking away, in disgust, months ago, the apps can just keep smothering their own balls, with their own My Pillows if they insist owning the whole bed is more important than everyone SLEEPING ON IT. IT? Homes on planet EARTH? Hello! How many ways can money be subdivided such that it never reaches the bottom again? Question answered generations ago, Ethicless MODERN MAN. Burgeoning teenage child just ran through the Geese and replied belligerently when told someone should screw with his house. Children you people raise!
So New York State and Uber will sit on their hands and volleyball money and food will arrive eventually and everyone deny if only we didn't pretend there wasn't a problem chiseling labor out of the system. Pretending figuring's all that's needed for money to work.
Customers were right stopping tipping. Unethical people made inadequate service happen. Started with rates that might not have needed tipping. Then oh well, as written earlier, it's acknowledged I/WE were just waiting for the collapse. It worked. Why collapse it? They didn't care and the State won't be that energetic in bureaucratic lethargy THAT DOMINATES THE COMMERCIAL AND STATE Bureaucracies.
Go ahead! Spend more on petty republicans lying they're not the worst bureaucrats ever on both sides of the line in cooperation with the Democratic Commercial Empires of New York Republicans are con artists anyway. Propped up with their stupidity alone, among many devious reasons. Giuliani not Democrat, is like Chris Christie ain't Hilary. Both so full of it their eyes roll the depths of a polluted ocean that'll never reveal light. ___holes!
Especially that GOLDMAN SACK OF A PUBLICLY FACELESS Witch Wife without the character to even sue ME BITCH! !!!  ME! The Donald Dump loves FREE HELP!
I don't care what your name is CHRISTIE WITCH! You're the teammate of that LIAR OF NEW JERSEY LIARS! New Jersey overtaxed pretending it's not designed as socialism for the rich. Encouraging the stupid belligerence so the money just floats where their MurphyBED Governor sniffs it in his sleep. Preparing mentally for burning in HELL with it YOU LYING GOLDMAN SACK of PIECE OF CRAP.
WORTHLESS PROPPED UP figurehead of smiling teeth, the public themselves wonder why theirs are so costly and yours not worth the time!
BITE that shameless nose off with those veneered teeth! ALL OF WALL STREET'S GOLDMAN SACK OF CRAP VIG CONSORTIUM COLLECTORS OF BUTT LICKING LIARS! Buy more presidents to burn in HELL with you! Great Accurate undesirable history you wrote about yourselves.
Joe "DuPont" Biden? How many times was your hand poisoned touching Not Hilary Chris Christie's hand. The Token NY Met up Cohen's PILE OF MONEY butt for NOT HILARY'S wife to touch everything the unseen user witch can CAN her CAN on.
GOLDMAN SACKS of Crap RULERS don't need her either. They all lie pretending they know anything other than destroying the weak for pleasure, you damnable many times over worthlessly self-rewarded crap sellers of deliberately shady dealing!
ANYWAY. Far fetched as this sounds? In Delaware I saw a courier company, open all night, still carrying lawyer stuff for that solvent local business.
Well. Seems this Major Revolutionary War city, where Americans retreated, to strengthen, still has bicycles delivering. Obviously uber spent money to attack New York. These three cities they're probably just carving up the suburbs promising what's left of the malls or whatever. As if they could over-all strategize with care, sitting back and waiting on the digits doing the perpetual work of hiding people who think exploitation's just fun gotten away with.
Filled out an application with the Delaware Company still employing bicycles. Though I'm basically rudderless as real estate overpriced getting by ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. Social Security used to pay something for a rented room, that's now just space on the street or your very own line on a list of people society decided marketing as homeless was useful enough. Leaving many discarded so weak it would break any real heart exposing themselves to those truly unfortunate broken fixable lives.
Made more sense marketing to levels of money, rather than vouchers so real estate that destroyed economics pretends smiling effectively covers up unfortunate outright deliberate ethicless fraud. No matter how much we'd like to excuse our children's and parents' devious reasonings' faults.
Denying the truth, Warren Buffett train man? Totalitarian useless piece of chemical carrying garbage. Money donated when you die? Why don't you just stuff it all up BILL GATES YOU BUTT-BUDDY TRASH-PILE! Burn in JP Morgan's MONEY too, dirt bags.
Donate when you die! Piss on it NOW! Seriously ____head! WARREN BUFFETT is somehow mistaken who I'm screaming at? Sue me NOW you co-conspirator, above that despicable contractor level, NUT with money. Good luck with that.
Toast with your giggly troll friend Billy Gates of IBM Dirtbag Delirium For Putrid Brains Infamy. Leaves garbage of his logged up rhythms all over the INTERNET and retires. Bill Gates hates himself that much folks. Loved his stupid head. Emulate that?
What National Security was telling me was a train station isn't a privileged spot for Americans to travel as their time is not similarly wanted as allowed WASTED IN AMERICAN AIRPORTS. You're supposed to remember hippies went to jail defining losing the fight to unTOP-DOWN America.
So? SCREW YOU AMERICA that's infuriated power's status as heralded idolatry is exposed! Facing ourselves is the world's only way out, as that Greta Woman repeated again, already near another generation ago.
Cops and public are still two citizens, and making a mockery of justice is making sure so many Americans are usefully criminalized that profit is still made from unethical totalitarian control. The Constitution says police are to protect the criminal, to protect the innocent. Not criminalize everything to protect the aristocracy. No? You haven't read.
On tap lying today, PRESIDENT BIDEN? Hey, Secret Service! Think I'm taunting them? No way. They were riding ACTUAL bicycles in front of The White House. Maybe months away from getting an uber poll asking if they're angry their electric rental bikes cost too much! And you're not a part of separate companies, you know darn well are set up so everything's exploiting as much as possible!
NO ONE CAN TELL THE NEAR ENOUGH LAWYERS TO CUT IT OUT! Means screwed.
I was heading south, but a plan worth thinking about, besides, of course, "NO COMMENT," is Wilmington.
I can be in New York easily or vice-verse. Want to rotate, with empty storefronts, my films in the window(s) for the nightly theater crowd etc and as outlet for artists to commercially show. Market Street windows are a virtual downtown widow filled gallery show reaching almost near the waterfront past the Train Station.
Here's the kicker, if gumption. Apps don't own the copyright on apps' ability. Known for years, but how to create a competitive infrastructure. Couriers have done this in small ways working with restaurants ...
I think Downtown Wilmington that closes early, as all Delaware does, would benefit with a well regulated properly paid for system of delivery. Just think if THE BURBS had been properly designed. Feeding trains to the line connecting the largest on the Eastern Seaboard. A pattern that might have meant half the problem with choked by gas engines, wouldn't be so obviously self indulgent alone NOW. Beg forgiveness? For pure impudence? Not me.
A good system would not be these wholesalers acting like grocery stores doing just deliveries. That's not local stores strengthened as apps promised, before undermining owner owned dining all over NEW YORK CITY! But the whole downtown Wilmington working together? Pharmacies taking turns. Suburbs calculated efficiently?
Problem, supplying the suburbs reaches? Don't. Idea to build support from, is downtown businesses success. Not throw a labyrinth over and say accept failure because no matter how much a disaster is caused by malpractice, the criminality of legal ethiclessness remains covered up. Seriously. Where there's a will, that's a way.
The apps, as NEW YORK also exploits in real estate enforcing a % of locations' profits on sales. Here to help? Apps charged a percentage on restaurants that restaurants absorbed unable to pass to customers.
Customers pay for it is right. If not, doesn't work. Economy twisted weird & an uber court-fired woman objectifying sexist EXEC(s) delivers food FOR THE ALMOST ENTIRE RETAIL FRANCHISE FOOD BUSINESS out of mobile homesNear enough ethicless? Competition-wise, lawyers cooperate. While uber creator, historically you're just ____.
Nice in retrospect knowing uber hated me and I found myself left with no voice, though don't precisely hate. Explained, company trapped not giving a ____. Go ahead, state, company, fix something. I already assume it's said both are. When Uber's proven too darn funny destroying me who only wanted to help. That's right. "Bicycle Couriers can you believe these people?" They knowAll left that exploitive idiocy angry.
Competition is right. But people need to wonder why so important to not be judged based on ethics anymore? And that crap was elected president once, pretending stupid is strong
FULL DISCLOSURE: PARCELS OF DELAWARE EMPLOYMENT QUERY after submitted application.
Dear Parcels Career Contact,

Attention Human Resources ... and Vice President ...  as ( ... on Linked identified RETIRED)

I filled out an application at the Wilmington Office last week, and as I've travelled AMTRAK three cities, this past week, and not based in Wilmington, I'm probably not thought worth looking into. But I request at least hearing this letter out. I've delivered on a bicycle 33 years.

Bobby, earlier today, and I listened to each other a bit. Basically, if I could be fit in, I want to live in Wilmington and work for PARCELS on the bicycle. Wilmington seems to be, so far, curbed from being overrun by kamikaze motorbikes as evolved in New York City. Wilmington, car mecca aside, is a place where I could work. Nice streets for walking at night. PARCELS stood out as worth applying to.

This is a film I made, including  a 1987 documentary defending bicycle couriers. Likely why I'm not fired by UBEREATS. I was effectively ostracized after the system was improved and THEN leveled off destroying competition for labor among companies established by bicycle couriers 50 years ago. The big two, or so, bought up then exploited the crafting of cheaper to customers right out of the actual work's pockets. Algorythmists carvings into thinking it's fun capitalism destroying labor's cut of the pie.
Don't know what's happened to uber's suit to stop eight years of text disclosures that mine should be prominent among. Just ridiculous, but not PARCELS problem. THE NY STATE AND UBER are bureaucratic incapable of pulling together fixing the problem of knowingly calculating failure. HIRE BACK THE PEOPLE THAT HAD IT WORKING!
Not PARCELS problem. I am applying for a job. But I don't want "why didn't you tell us" to apply.
Basically in NYC, uber paid couriers per hour to wait around and give perfect service. When I walked in for indoctrination, 5 Muslim cab drivers had killed themselves (MEDALLION SCAM debt to city when obvious money dissolved before their dying eyes).
I wanted to know how they were justified dominating bicycles. At the end the man who knew looked at me and shrugged his shoulders when I said, "this could work, but they're going to screw it up, aren't they?" See? Know too much for my own good as the saying goes.
Anyway. I am a very efficient courier. I've had incidents where months later I remember something that's found something. Better the system works perfectly, but point is I can do the job competently.
The plan was back to New York to get my bicycle, then south where it's warmer. But in Wilmington I’m still accessible to New York and if the job fits I can commit to being loyal and punctual.
I can promise to last the winter. Technically April-ish. Not that if things aren’t working I can’t stick with it. It’s just realistically a winter promise is sincere. I want to show silent(?) films in one (as many as I can) of those nice empty windows along Market Street that's lined like a nice mall of galleries. The Music and Theater Scene is a good audience for sidewalk theater.
As a writer based 38 years in New York City, I still prefer easy access to Manhattan and Wilmington makes sense. Downtown Wilmington as big as it is, has nice small town written underneath how everything is so overpriced for the elite. As has evolved everywhere else the economy's stretched past proportion.
I don't want to be a jerk about it, but with 43 adult years on the bicycle - dropped off from a van, or something, means some motion sickness in vehicles for me. I can deal with it, but regularly or excessively isn't efficient.
My train to New York leaves tonight, 11:30. Going south or straight to Wilmington to talk or discuss employment I want to do. EVEN IF we are just learning things from each other, that's satisfactory. Don't worry, I find the cadgiest people reveal most shutting up. All I'm told is you still employ bicycles.
And this made my life as a writer, (needing a 20-25 hour delivery-week), more significant. However small and humble I could possibly hope to say I remain.
And this would be my essay that perhaps somewhat explains why it makes sense to relocate (retreat) to this Revolutionary War Heritage City.

Sincerely, Malcolm

Politics Makes A Difference, When?

The RT headline Medvedev calls to purge United Russia of ‘accidental’ members pictures the Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev looking as if contemplating his next moves as head of the parliamentary majorityUnited Russia Party.
Friday the Presidium of The Party’s General Council was expected to elect the head of the CEC by a direct and secret vote for the first time. Meeting with candidates for the head post of United Russia’s Central Executive Committee (CEC), RT states, the Prime Minister again decided to promote internal democracy and call for a major party renewal, which included purging all those who blacken its image. Which partially brings to mind, a generation back when there were attempts to relieve The Communist Party of their dead-weight.
Medvedev said, “There must be responsibility before the party and this means that there must be responsibility before the people who trust the party.” Was he born yesterday, reviving tired political rhetoric as if running for the President of the United States or something? What happened to becoming the brand new Russia? “Trust the Party?” You have a commission deal, Dimitry, to sell the Brooklyn Bridge and Kremlin wholesale? I know, maybe the Kremlin.
“Our members and leaders are not at all without sin,” the PM added. “We must make decisions if there are problems. If a certain number of people who got into the party’s ranks by chance are behaving in a way that they blacken everything in the party structures, then we must get rid of them.”
What? Otherwise the captain goes down with the ship? Come on. There’s no plan in motion for anything similar to a weak party giving up or sharing control, yet. It’s paramount The Party is a well oiled, efficient machine? It’s already majorly greased. You can’t have assorted voices not in complete agreement? What party politics compromising an agreement is all about?
Is that what was wrong? The Communist Party’s private disagreements before the fatuous announcements kept them from being a smoothly-run KGB machine? So now that problem is fixed from the inside, it might as well be polished from the outside too? Will Russia’s rulers ever tire of flexed muscles in victory?
Medvedev said the elections to the top posts were a symbol of United Russia’s renewal. Telling party activists, “I have always thought, and this is still my sincere position, that competitiveness is always better than someone’s dominance, even when we understand that the man who is taking the responsibility has good starting opportunities, respect and so on.”
The United Russia leader also stressed party renewal was not simply to show some movement, but better adjust to the changing world. Dmitry Medvedev became a member of United Russia in May 2012, shortly after freshly-elected President Vladimir Putin appointed him prime minister. Almost immediately after joining, Medvedev was elected party leader, replacing Putin, who is not a member because of his support for the idea of a non-partisan president. What? Like a monarch or just another life-long bureaucrat running a department such as, what, sanitation, for instance, except this one the whole world knows is the kingdom of Russia? Come on Vladimir, as is usual, and always been throughout Russian History. It’s your move. You did so well this week announcing your favoring some amount of compassion from the Court for the Pussy Riot Women. There’s a lot more to do in Russia than leave a democracy, but from where you sit that’s your legacy. Whichever move you choose.

An Address The Nation Speech (1/8/2019)
Addressing the nation is at the heart of our president's lament. That listeners' non-adherence is just a huge communication gap bridged by repetition. If this first such address weren't so importantly meaningful, the reeking from blind self-promotionalism is more than exposed enough. Maybe our president isn't just pretending our formal stances shield us from every repercussion? It makes sense enough of the country didn't understand a Teflon Don's result. Style mattered over substance after all. Our country's so great, where might brazenness get us after all? A ruthless world requires tough choices. Some down home despotry thrown into a political circus of such astronomical proportions, no satellite'll ever receive the country the complete picture anyway. No how. No way. Yee-haw!
I wish our president's Tuesday, 9 PM EST, 1/8/2019, strategy was of more substance than just the no shame back-patting that accepts no responsibility for why so many immigrants fled collapsed social structures in the first and second places. All for the glamour of war with ourselves is the history of humankind. Even the police don't need a better run police state that's madness. Whereas only the hugest scapegoat of all is worth your majesty's attention apparently? Crime's Shrine. Amen?
Symbolism shouldn't be over anyone's head, Mr. President. But reducing the simple to extra-ordinarily simple is too sad. Disparity ruling as, at least, half the time, it's enforced. Upward mobility is supposed to raise everyone up. Not leave the bottom the pits. The wall already up that shouldn't be. Like any other environmental tragedy, just further shame.
It's like we're pinching ourselves at a decade's end. Because, as time goes by, the accumulation feels more acute when one's become the next another.
Don't Be Anyone's Sycophant is certainly redundant on my part. Like an unswerving political message hardly anything can actually, really, be done about. As noted, in these pages, before, a difficulty in Criminal Enterprise System reform is the strong belief in adhering to an aggressively flawed enforcement strategy that real life can only accept as inevitable. But our adeptness, at financing crime, is put to shame by the result of our not solving it.
New York's, once, Governor Gateway, finally, January 17th, announced his legalized marijuana support. Shunting the sign that this will completely undermine the moral fabric of humankind. Of course, not yet, is this an all-out assault on ending a contrived illegal façade that's darkened cultural dignity across the world. Now fronted by the poster person for I'm so good I've never done drugs mantra. What any know-it-all doesn't know could fill the universe. In fact there's evidence the nation's #1 celebrity has never empathized well with all that much, except for the world's ripeness for exploitation?
Perspective, Mr. President? Minds need the world's cultures poll-vaulting past our incredible hump of scapegoating happiness, that for some is all too plainly viewed through a big screen of outright denial. Bah. Humbug. Nonsense these idealists are more patriotic than those. The public's sold political checkers, while the performance hoax pretends chess.
What if Senator Mitch McConnell suddenly, and for a period of time, stopped explaining everything was "for the American people?" Would lives carried along considering those words stamped gospel, also suddenly be more broadly thought out concerning what's fashioned? Rest that whole if you think we represent being too American then you're not American enough attitude?
Collusion's beaten to the punch. War, not war, is hardly a question any longer. Too sophisticated for that. Us. The presidents. Whoever, whichever. Modern times has spawned the attitude of our being above sad, bad results. Too smart for their own britches has all of us caught by their own petards. Which includes the President of the United States too. Sir.
Surviving getting by's pushed to the max. And as long as all the volatility's everyone else's fault, facing anything's just a backhanded slap. Ba dump bump.
All Is Discombobulated For New Year's Day
Christmas has as many different meanings as there are people and interpretations. Dwarfing the martyrdomizing of the US Presidency that's put to further shame in relation to those election campaign boasts about President Obama's wasteful spending playing golf. No one before has so brazenly flaunted the perks of office? Judging by what presidents have done after their terms in office, is the actual plan symbolically representing the richest man on earth, ever? Such a sad reminder that at Christmas-time, something was amiss in River City. Perhaps the ageless musical, Pride Goeth Before A Fall
Among things to be thankful for are reminders lying well comes with wealth, or at least outright viciousness, through laughter and smiles, or feigned serious expression, is satisfyingly refreshing?
Happy Christmas and Merry New Year as per usual.

ARROGANCE DOES NOT BECOME US

My 2019 Suggestion For
New York City's DeBlasio Administration
Cut this nonsense whereby the ASPCA etc. encourages citizens in all the various neighborhoods to learn how to trap and neuter feral cats. All the while saying the rat problem will be dealt with through better poisons. There should be a city-wide program neutering these cats and providing them with sufficient housing while they perform a community service. All homelessness requires shelter. Period. And cats are good for the environment, but not as scapegoats for our self-centered preoccupations.
Also of note, while not perfect everywhere, there's a preponderance of metal grates and plates in the road leveled to the road surface. Well, at least more than there used to be when flat surfaces were much more rare. Some jobs require larger asphalt ridges. But generally I'm noticing more smooth surfaces when they practically didn't use to exist. And while the mayor might not be personally responsible for that specific quality improvement, I appreciate the advance. Now what about all those other rough spots?

7 Days In, New Year’s Rather Old Already
Duh. A woman standing at a curb, on her phone, stepped right in front of moving me and sounded her "ooo" alarm as if absolutely none of the fault for the inconvenient passing were her own. Thirty-seven years of experience had me realizing the calculation to swerve was necessary a brief second before it happened. Not a dag-gum bit of evidence indicates the public-at-large is capable of realizing we're just too naive to keep dangerously going on like this where it's ok because, eventually, soon enough, someday, lights, bells and whistles will all go off if anyone's within 2 feet of any one of us. Certainly. There'll be portable ambulances everyone carries so there'll be little excuse for anyone not to fly through the streets because of the long-standing fast as possible tradition our insurance addictively finances.
PAY ATTENTION, the rewards ARE PRICELESS.

Is It Important Governments Pretend To Have Real Relationships?

Due to their labyrinthian nature, governments tend to naturally avoid responsibility while nailing the simpler to define individuals for the littlest things. Why justice seems imbalanced toward the wealthy when they're, sometimes, just more difficult targets in the pecking order of things.
Well, as Ellen Barry reported, Friday, Jan. 25, in The New York Times in U.S. Withdraws From Project With Russia on Civil Society, rubber stamps is what are in abundance when it comes to government relations. Ms. Barry wrote -  The United States, in answer to Russia’s recent crackdown on civil society groups, is withdrawing from a bilateral Russian-American working group on civil society. A three-year-old project, that embodied the spirit of the “reset” between Washington and Moscow. The US–Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission.

Imagery, as highlighted by Ms. Barry's strategically placed middle sentence. - The working group had not met in a plenary session for more than a year, amid disputes between the two sides about its scope and format.

Otherwise known in politics as a boondoggle. Where doing the right thing is constructed into a big waste of time.
As Yuri Dzhibladze, president of the Center for Development of Democracy and Human Rights, an advocacy group based in Moscow, quoted by The Times, said,  - “In practice, it has turned out that human rights and the rule of law and democracy have all but disappeared from the agenda in the U.S.-Russia dialogue. A symbolic anatomy of the failure of the reset policy. This particular working group has not been too helpful, and I’m glad it is gone. We should not pretend that this has been a real mechanism for dialogue.”

Still, obviously decision makers do not intend to lack for excuses. Just wait. Soon everything will be adequately polished and Moscow delinquents stashed and warehoused away. Then, as if by nothing near magic, there'll be an acceptance of outright Potemkin Villages, no less, just as New York City's polished Times Square showcases America's chromed domed success while what's tarnished beneath remains stained. Just because Russia refuses to face civil society, doesn't mean America should pretend our own flaws aren't as bad as having the other side's. If America is greener, we should keep improving.

Anyway, Dmitri S. Peskov, Mr. Putin’s spokesman, said he regretted the American decision but played down its importance. He said, “It means nothing, actually. We deeply regret that we’ve been deprived of one of the formats of dialogue, without compensating its absence with a new one. We are very sorry about that. It’s negative for both Moscow and Washington.”

Meaning, naming a new group to pretend would have been entirely okay? Sure, the spokesman wasn't implying the creation of more façades is acceptable. But he may as well have.

Mr. Putin's spokesman said the dissolving did not pose a great loss, especially because Russia insists its domestic affairs should not be subject to international scrutiny.

There you go, that's original. Its not as if a Russian spokesperson ever insisted on minding your own business when addressing the public before.

Mr. Peskov said, “We cannot discuss our domestic affairs. We can share our views, exchange our opinions, but we can never discuss our domestic affairs.”

Yet Mother-Country patriotism aside, Russia's recent deluge of legislative calculations just seem to be a method of buying time. After all, no one really intends to avoid whatever foreigners feel comfortable spending in Russia?

Remember the end of the Soviet Union? When people just gave up and there weren't enough citizens lined up at the economic trough to keep the operation afloat? That was capitalism that collapsed, when too few benefit. When its all struggle for little reward. That's what a president should listen for and not just what would satisfy the aristocrats. Here's wishing, at least, President Putin's spokesperson lightens up.

RT itself also reported Friday, Moscow regrets US pullout from bilateral commission on human rights. Beginning - The United States has delivered the latest setback to Russia-US relations by announcing it will no longer participate in the Russian-American Bilateral Presidential Commission on Civil Society.

Suffice it to say, free speech is still an inadequate substitute for transparency

Fabulous. According to The New York Times, North Korean Leader Vows ‘High-Profile’ Retaliation Over New U.N. Sanctions. By Choe Sang-Hun, January 27, 2013. Seoul, South Korea — Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, has ordered his top military and Party officials to take “substantial and high-profile important State measures” to retaliate against American-led United Nations sanctions on the country, The North's Official Media reported Sunday.

Its just posturing as of the old days with whatever there is to bargain with lying around. Where government interests are wrongly substituted for their people. An easily reached for excuse apparently as governments throughout the world justify their rights over their individuals.

Does anything like an opinion really exist in North Korea? How the hell did people ever justify thought control, propaganda/advertising, as the best way to control and define and rule their citizenry? Except ultimately combining together to rule ourselves militarily is how we evolved to this point where the individual is still regarded as less important than The State. When the rights of the individual is the principle upon which the United States of America was founded?

Talking it out at least tries to pretend something is being solved. Surely Kim Jong-un can speak?
